When it was time to start writing a new historical romance series, there was only one thing I had in mind: governesses.

Why?

Because there is something about governesses in historical romance that you just don’t get in ‘normal’ Regency romances. Balls, card parties, walks in St. James’ Park – they are all great. I love them!

But when you have a series about governesses, you get to do something completely different. As an author, I can take you, my wonderful reader, into an entirely different world.

Secret overheard conversations in corridors. Servant secrets. Mysteries in the house that no one would ever hear unless the story followed a governess.

I love governesses! Partly respectable members of society, partly servants who were ignored, they were able to move through the Regency world without anyone stopping them.

I really hope you love this series. I poured my heart and soul into the first book, and I hope you enjoy it!
