Well, I’ve mentioned for a while that I’ve had a new project in the works I haven’t been able to talk about…and now I finally can!

So here it is…

I have just signed a contract to write a historical non-fiction book!

I can’t explain to you how excited I am about this. I have always adored history (as you can probably guess!) and the idea that I’m just over a year I will be able to hold a copy of my own contribution to that world is quite astonishing.

The book will be about the eldest daughters of English monarchs, and what they might have been like as monarchs if it were the eldest daughter who inherited, not the eldest son.

It’s part history, part informed speculation, and I am so delighted to be able to write it.
