Love.

It’s something that almost all of us crave, whether it’s from a romantic partner, a parent, a child, a friend – or a pet!

Whether you believe in true love or not, falling in love is an absolutely incredible, frightening, wonderful experience. It’s a real challenge to create in a book, as you can imagine, and as an author I always want to make sure that each book is unique.

Everyone falls in love differently. The circumstances are different, the people are different, and the way that people respond to love is different too!

It can be frightening, to lose control of your emotions like that.

But it’s why I write romance. Though the genre is sometimes looked down on by others, in my mind, it’s the most potent and incredible genre that explores and challenges us to examine who we are, what we want, and what we’re willing to do to get it.
