It’s that time again!
The time of year when we all look back on the year that we have already lived, and we start to look at the future of the year to come.
It’s been hard the last few years. COVID has turned upside down a huge amount of our plans, and it has personally been quite challenging to start planning what I want my year to look like, when I had no idea what the year was actually going to look like.
But now that I am officially a full year through being a full time author, here’s what I’ve done.
I’ve had almost 20 books published.
I’ve secured a literary agent for my historical non-fiction.
I’ve worked with some incredible authors for line editing, proofreading, and transliteration.
I’ve seen more and more independent authors grow and succeed, which has been such a joy.
I’ve worked on contemporary romance, sweet romance, and historical fiction – none of which (so far!) has been published.
And I’ve been healthier, happier, and more joyful than I think I have been in a long time.
So. What’s my plan for next year?
Honestly, right now: I don’t know! There are so many things that I want to achieve, but I am starting to learn that there is no point in trying to plan out too far in advance. The more I try to control the future, the harder it is to keep on track.
So for now, I want to wish you a happy New Year for 2023, and that all your dreams – all those that will benefit you – will come true 🥰
You are an inspiration and I love reading your books about love and romance. I need to believe that it exists to make this world a better place.
Have a wonderful and happy new year with lots of laughs and sparkling imagination.
