Hundreds of you have loved my Never the Bride series: from Always the Bridesmaid to Always the Mistress – and when the series ended in April 2021, so many of you were upset.
I’m sorry! Sometimes a series comes to an end, and though I will probably revisit the characters that we all loved, there’s a new chapter in my author life opening.

Always the Second Choice is the last novel in my popular Never the Bride series.
It’s been such a rollercoaster. This twelve novel series originally started as a six book series with my new publishers, Dragonblade, but my amazing readers (that’s you!) loved these characters and my writing style so much that I just kept going.
It was hard to see how I would ever stop!
